We just love this printed indigo cotton, which is a traditional Czech fabric - called "modrotisk" (blue stuff) in Czech. We source from a small family-run workshop that makes it by hand in the traditional way.

To emphasise the "folk" feeling of this piece, we have combined two different patterns and lined in a vintage (1950s) folk cotton from Switzerland. The combination is, we think, adorable and timeless. It's also traditional, as folk garments made from these Czech indigo fabrics were often lined in a scarlet cotton.

Please note that every bag is just a little different, as it's cut from a different part of the fabric. Yours may not be identical to the photo but will be very simlar and equally beautiful.
